KIKN’s first student to study in the UK arrived last week on Thursday 28th August. I was there with Uma’s daughter and her husband and their son to greet Rasmila as she arrived at the North Terminal at Gatwick Airport after a long journey via Dubai. After some initial luggage problems at Kathmandu airport Rasmila finally took off to the UK. It was so nice to see her finally arrive and I was glad to be there in person to welcome her to the UK.
Rasmila is coming to complete a 12 month Masters course in Pharmaceutical Science at the University of Surrey in Guildford. She will initially be staying with Uma’s daughter while she settles into the UK.
