On Wednesday 17th June 2026 the FIA (Futures Industry Association) held their annual IDX gala dinner in aid of their charity ‘Futures For Kids’ (FFK), which supports KIKN each year with grants. The event is a black tie affair held at Old Billingsgate in the city and is FFK’s biggest fundraiser of the year, to date the charity has raised around £4m. This was the first time I had attended the event since Lai See last attended in 2019. FFK currently supports four other charities as well as KIKN. I was very honoured to receive an invite and be able to attend and it was very nice to meet the heads of some of the other charities and to be able to talk about current issues facing us all as well as meet some of the other Trustees of FFK.
