KIKN held its 12th AGM yesterday during an afternoon tea event at Durban Road. There was an invited audience of supporters of KIKN and a number of the Trustees. Stephen Smith gave the AGM address, firstly thanking those attending and all the sponsors and donors during the year, followed by the highlights of the work achieved by the charity during 2024, taking some questions from the floor.
He then gave some key points from the Annual Accounts and finished by giving a brief update on the year to date.
It is always nice to be able to see a few people in person at an event like this as it is very informal and everyone gets the chance to ask any questions and give some feedback.
The AGM was followed by the social part of the afternoon with everyone enjoying a few drinks with some sandwiches and lovely cakes while catching up with news from friends.
Thank you to John Crowe for letting us use Durban Road as the venue.
