In addition to yummy cakes made by our ever supportive friends and donors, there were some beautiful craft items and calendars  on sale as well.   • Thank You – KIKN Annual Dance

Together with a recent generous donation from the Richardson Family trust, It wll enable us to support Jana Sudhar Lower Secondary School to do further repairs to the damaged classrooms, build a new canteen

  • KIKN Open Day

    Once a year KIKN welcomes all our sponsored children ( 38 this year ) and their parents to Uma’s orphanage. Many shopping sprees later, Uma and I purchased all the clothing we needed for every child. The children helped to pack the appropriate sized/colours into 38 individual packages. A great achievement by any standard!

  • Jana Sudhar School Honours KIKN

    Today is the beginning of the Festivals in Nepal. All the teachers and pupils came together to formally thank KIKN for providing the new facilities in this little state school in a very deprived areas of Kathmandu. They include a library, computer lab ( with 20 computers, desks and chairs ) science lab, Tiffin (breakfast)

  • The Boys Orphanage at Parapokar-Durrkot

    During my short visit in April (just before the earthquake), I met some of Uma ‘s volunteers who were interested in KIKN’S work. They came on some home visits with us, and saw at first hand the dire home conditions the local children were living in. Some of them then became interested in our work.
