Dear Friends and Supporters of KIKN,
Thank you to everybody who supported the the private film screening and Q & A session on Sunday evening. It was a moving and inspiring film and fitted so well with our ethos of ‘ a better life through education’. Thank you to Sue Carpenter and Tideturner films for making the film available to us. The online event raised the sum of £1,768, of which KIKN will get 50%, the film producers 30%, and Belmaya and her daughter the other 20%. Together with some direct online donations we raised approx. £1,000 from the event. The proceeds will go to provide other young girls in Nepal with an education and now that schools are reopening again after lockdown we will once again be providing breakfast club places at our six schools.
Thank you for your very generous support.
